While Josh was visiting Windy City, he stopped at what I thought might just be heaven on earth. Did you know that there is a coffee shop in Chicago called Nutella Café?? Courtesy of Josh, here’s a look inside.
Do you pay much attention? Do you see what I see? Endless foods, desserts, and snacks in the form of Nutella.
In case you’re not familiar with Nutella, here’s a primer.
Now, if that counter picture doesn’t whet your appetite, let’s give it a try. Josh sent me some pictures of the foods he tried while he was there.
These are the Nutella Cafe “5th Anniversary” pancakes – served with Nutella and whipped cream. I think my tongue just came out of my face on the floor. When he rolls again, he may have scratched this one. . .
This is one of the pancakes in the cafe with Nutella, strawberries, raspberries and whipped cream. Naturally, Josh had to rub it off. He said, “It was, of course, delicious!”
Josh joined us on the morning show to chat about his Nutella adventure.
Oh, and that’s a fun fact. At Nutella Cafe you can buy a small jar of Nutella and they will put your name on it. As Josh suggested, think of the custom Coca-Cola bottles that were in circulation a couple of years ago.
If you are in Chicago and want to try the Nutella Café, it is located at 189 North Michigan Avenue. You can also like their official Facebook page.
If you want to take a closer look inside, check it out. When the café opened a few years ago, Chicago Magazine shared a fun YouTube video tour.
