Grand Bohemian Lodge boutique hotel opens in downtown Greenville

Great views and exceptional fare

In September, Grenfell added a new landmark with the official opening of the Grand Bohemian Lodge. The seven-storey boutique hotel impresses at every turn with its interiors, art and cuisine. But this is by design. The Grand Bohemian Lodge is independently owned and operated as part of the Kessler Collection, an award-winning brand of luxury boutique hotels known for creating an art-rich travel experience through curated art exhibitions, exceptional cuisine, architecture, and unexpected details.

The Grand Bohemian Inn in Greenville is no exception. The hotel features 187 guest rooms, event space with 1,900 square feet of ballroom or meeting spaces, a full-service spa, art gallery, retail space, and a signature two-story restaurant and lounge.

Design details

From architecture to decor, nature is celebrated in the design details. The elegant interiors bring the outside in and draw inspiration from the natural surroundings. Materials indigenous to the northern region, such as timber, renewable wood, natural stone and river rock, were incorporated. There is also plenty of glass to take advantage of the dramatic views.

Deluxe guest rooms, lodge rooms and bi-level suites

The hotel’s location on the banks of the Reedy River sets the stage for an unforgettable stay. The guest rooms are well appointed and have all the luxury amenities and amenities you would expect from a boutique hotel. The lodge rooms and a number of suites are configured to offer views of the river and Falls Park, and there are signature suites with balconies overlooking Reedy River Falls and Liberty Bridge. Pets are also very welcome with pet amenities such as access to an exclusive menu and rewards.

Dinner among the trees

Great views and exceptional fare can be found in the hotel’s signature restaurant, among the trees, located on the main floor. Named for the hotel’s location, the restaurant opens to stone terraces overlooking the Liberty Bridge and the waterfalls, and Michelin-starred Executive Chef Nicolas Abello serves a menu featuring modern inn fare with dishes that highlight locally and regionally sourced ingredients. Expect delicious options like pheasant entrées, bison burgers with pickled onions and tomato jam, and specialties like grilled Atlantic cod with spinach brown butter. Other spaces include a 1,000-bottle wine room and a private dining room.

Spirit and Power Lounge

This handsome stone bar opens to the outside and connects the interior with the beauty of soothing falling sounds. Sip from a wide selection of rare bourbons and whiskeys, and savor the small plate options on the outside terrace by the fire pit.
