Louis Vuitton watches go back to the days of sticker-covered bags

The Louis Vuitton Escale Time Zone watch features 24 world time zones. Escale (“stop” in French) was created to attract travelers around the world, with not just time zones, but the colorful flags of the world represented on the clock face. Images of flags also connect contemporary wristwatches to the earlier days of Louis Vuitton, when travelers could personalize their LV luggage with the flags of the countries they traveled to.

This watch was introduced in 2010, and the Escale line remains. Louis Vuitton’s annual designs include a resort group also called Escale.

A question: One of my most vivid memories is walking into our kitchen and watching my mom make coffee using a glass coffee pot. Watching the water bubble through a central tube and drip above ground into coffee was amazing. I saw one at a flea market called a Pyrex Flameware coffee machine. Are old coffee makers a valuable collectible?
