There aren’t nearly as many homes to choose from as a site like Airbnb — but the trade-off is that all homes must meet certain criteria to be listed on Marriott Homes & Villas. Marriott screens every property before it is posted on their site. For example, you are guaranteed high-speed Wi-Fi, in-unit washer, cookware, and premium linens and towels.
To boot, you can earn and redeem Marriott Points (and get Elite Night Credits) when you stay at Marriott Homes and Villas.

Is this a good deal?
As a Marriott member, you will earn 5 points for every $1 spent on Marriott Homes & Villas. TPG Ratings pegs Marriott Points at 0.84 cents each, which means you’ll earn an effective return of 4.2% when you book your stay. This number increases if you have Marriott elite status, where you may earn up to 8.75 points per dollar, depending on your status level.
With this promotion, you will earn 10,000 bonus Marriott Points On top of this earnings ($84 value per TPG ratings). This is a nice bonus, but not necessarily an incentive to switch your stay to Marriott Homes & Villas.

Marriott Homes and Villas are a great alternative for Marriott loyalists who need that extra space a hotel can’t provide. Many of the properties listed are also unique and luxurious—from beach bungalows to castles—and can certainly be cheaper than a hotel suite with similar amenities and square footage.
This latest promotion will give you 10,000 bonus points for every three-night stay that expires by the end of 2022. That equates to an average of $84 in travel.
