Real Living First Realty is now a subsidiary of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate

March 25 – Bemidji – Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate announced on Friday the affiliation of the Bemidji-based Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate First Choice. The agency was previously known as Real Living First Realty.

The company was originally founded in 1958, and is led by Doug and Jerry Fuller, who became owners in 2006. Doug Fuller entered real estate in 2000 after working for the American Cancer Society and served three terms as a state representative in the Minnesota legislature. Jerry Fuller began her career as a teacher before obtaining her real estate license in 1998.

With a focus on residential and lakeside properties as well as commercial, multifamily, lakeside and lot sales properties, the company serves Bemidji and its surrounding areas, which include Bagley, Blackduck, Cass Lake, Park Rapids and Walker.

“Over our 20 years in real estate, we have learned to fully appreciate the benefits of a strong and trusted brand partnership to support growth,” said Doug Fuller, broker and co-owner. “While strong lifestyle brand awareness is a strong hallmark of the value proposition, Jerry and I are huge fans of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate’s incredible momentum and ongoing efforts to achieve Be Better.”

“We are pleased to partner with a brand that will help drive the success of our dealers and support our expansion efforts.”

Co-owner Jerry Fuller added: “Our ability to give our affiliates a distinct advantage in the market will be supported by the help of several powerful marketing programs that leverage the Better Homes and Garden Real Estate brand with consumers. We always tell our clients that they need the right people on their team.

“Our decision to join Better Homes and Garden Real Estate is an extension of that philosophy as we bring more resources, specialized software, and powerful technology to our agents.”

Realtor.com reports that the median listing price for a home in Bemidji is $270,000, well below the national average home sale price of $350,300.

The Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network has more than 12,600 independent sales employees and approximately 410 offices serving home buyers and sellers throughout the United States, Canada, Jamaica, the Bahamas, Australia and New Zealand.

“Doug and Jerry Fuller are well known and respected in the Bemidji business community for their unwavering support and commitment to their agents and the professional growth of everyone on their team,” said Sherry Kress, President and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. “We are excited about expanding the brand’s presence in Minnesota and look forward to supporting the company’s continued success.”
