Swansea ordering planning week ends May 8th

Various planning requests have been submitted to Swansea Council, this week.

The list below contains the planning applications that became effective in the previous week:

  • (Pre-application) 1st floor back extension, large front window, garage conversion to front/side pitched roof, retaining part of 1st floor balcony with glass railing and separate garden room at 20 Picket Mead Road, Newton, Swansea.
  • Installation of solar panels on the side (south) and rear (southwest) roof at 5 Newton Villas, Newton, Swansea.
  • Change of use of Ground Floor from Dog Grooming/Pet Supplies Salon (Unique Use) to Beauty Salon (Class D1) at 3 Pawtraits, Chapel Street, Mumbles, Swansea.

  • First- and one-story rear extensions with a pitched roof added to the existing one-story rear extension – a non-material amendment to Planning Permission 2021/3188/FUL was granted on January 25, 2022 to allow the replacement of pitched roofs to the proposed first- and one-story rear extensions with roofs Flat and omitted pitched roof to existing one-story rear extension at 9 Windmill Terrace, St Thomas, Swansea.

  • Two story side extension, one floor aft extension, exterior works including additional parking and patio areas at 353 Clasemont Road, Morriston, Swansea.
  • Single storey side extension to lower ground floor with balcony above, exterior stair relocation, one storey rear extension to ground floor supported on columns, window modifications and cladding addition at High Kiln Bank, Oxwich, Swansea.

  • Single storey side extension and side wall/fence at 1001 Llangyfelach Road, Tirdeunaw, Swansea.
  • Site of two storage containers and a patio area for a community store at Penllergaer Primary School, Pontardulais Road, Penllergaer, Swansea
  • Two-storey aft extension and modifications to fenestration – Status 3 discharge (Environmental Improvement Measures) from Planning Permission 2022/0362/FUL granted on April 5, 2022 at 81 West Cross Street, West Cross, Swansea.
  • PRE APP – Front Porch, 1st Floor Front Porch Extension, 1st Floor Back Extension, Ridge Height Increase, Front Cantilever Window with Balcony, Rear Roof Extension and Window Adjustments at 1 Gloucester Place, Mumbles, Swansea.
