These are the most expensive homes for sale in all 50 states

You might be surprised where your state’s most expensive home is hiding – and what it looks like! After diving deep into the recently released Point2 Homes report on The most expensive home for sale in every US state, we are sure of that. From a $170 million beachfront complex with its own park and docks to an 8-bath, $9 million colony on 39 acres, these aren’t your typical real estate listings.

To determine the most expensive homes currently for sale in all 50 states and DC, Point2 analysts scrolled through listings in their database, across national and local brokerages as well as verified listings of luxury properties in edge-to-edge cities in each state. The result: the amazing 51 characteristics below (one case has a tie).

Point2 pros say, “They are amazing homes with equally amazing price tags,” and we have to agree. Each one is living proof that the luxury accommodation market is certainly restless, even in the midst of all the economic vicissitudes of the pandemic. (Sales of “luxury homes,” listed at $50 million or more, jumped 35% in the U.S. from 2020 to 2021, according to Data from appraiser Samuel Miller.)

Take a tour of all these epic homes, listed from most expensive to largest “steal”. While you’re at it, score some major design and decor inspiration. We’re calling out the features in each that really caught our eye so you don’t miss out!
