three bedrooms, five bathrooms, The house is 2,282 square feet Walking distance to Trinity Bellwoods Park.
The house was built in the late 1800s and was purchased by the current owners in 2021. Previously divided into rental units, the layout hasn’t been updated in decades. The owners intend to renovate the house and move in. However, they have since changed their minds and are looking for a buyer with a taste for luxury.
The facade of the house has been restored with painted wood over the original brickwork. The parking pad doubles as a front yard.
There is also a covered porch in front.
The front entrance leads directly into the living room which has a gas fireplace with marble surround. White oak engineered wood floors appear throughout.
Here is a reverse view, where the dining area and kitchen are located directly behind the living room.
The owners chose a glass-walled staircase to increase sightlines.
The kitchen, by Trevisana, comes with quartz countertops, Fisher and Paykel appliances, and a six-burner stove. There’s a built-in coffee maker and rapid oven (think convection oven combined with a microwave) to the left of the hob, and a built-in fridge and freezer to the right.
The 11-foot waterfall island, which also contains quartz, seats six. Floor-to-ceiling windows with sharp black trim were added during the renovation, enhancing the exit to the backyard.
The powder room is right behind the kitchen. Its entrance, with ceramic tiles, serves as a small mud room.
Here’s another view of this amazing staircase, showing open elevators and LED-lit handrails.
Second floor two bedrooms. This is the first, with its own balcony overlooking the backyard.
This down the hall bathroom has a waterfall shower head and porcelain tiles.
The corner between the bedrooms on the second floor is currently organized as a small office.
There is also a stack washer and dryer on the second floor.
And here is the second bedroom, with floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors leading to a second floor deck. All bedrooms of the house have built in Trevisana cupboards with organizer drawers.
The second bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and large vanity unit.
The master suite spans the entire third floor and has a feature wall with floating side tables. Outside the bedroom there is a balcony covered with a pergola.
Behind the cabinet is a spacious bathroom with heated floors and a double floating vanity. The mirror was custom made to match the roof line. There are large size ceramic tiles throughout.
Vendors say you can see the CN tower while you are soaking in the bathtub.
Here is the family room downstairs.
This open area downstairs, between the family room and the fourth bedroom, is divided as a children’s play area.
The fourth bedroom is designed for guests, but future owners could convert it into an office. This large door cabinet holds an additional washer-dryer combo.
Downstairs also has a bathroom with a walk-in shower in ornate porcelain tiles.
Here is a view of the backyard and bedroom porches. The wood shed, left, conceals the air conditioner and gas connection for the grill.
