If you are an active Twitter user, you might have noticed a sudden increase in the number of posts discussing the pros and cons of Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Each of the three big cities has a loyal fan base, and the competition between them — while not new — has been heating up on the microblogging platform lately. It all seems to have started with a wave of posts from Bengaluru residents looking for roommates to share some truly amazing properties.
Case in point, this:
Looking for flatmates to share a beautiful 4 bedroom duplex apartment in HSR! The natural light and the balcony + balcony got me hooked! ???? It’s a bargain!

Mumbaikars are quick to note that the rent mentioned in these posts will not go far in the extreme city. Mumbai, after all, is a city notorious for its high rent. Moreover, the lack of open spaces in the capital of Maharashtra means that homes overlooking parks, fields, or any kind of green space – such as those in Bengaluru – are a rare luxury in Mumbai.
So is the rent just for the bed or the linens or what? What about the rest of the items in the description.
Please send the list.
Worried, Mumbai (who doesn’t live in Mumbai anymore)

Meanwhile, people from Delhi were amused by the ‘Bangalore vs Bombay’ discussion brewing on Twitter. Many residents of Delhi NCR indicated that they paid much less rent compared to the other two cities.
Since everyone is talking about Bangalore rents I just wanted to say I live in NCR in 3 bed room 1 store 4 bath kitchen dining I live with 4 balconies of 2000 sqft and my rent is 20k per month with deposit Insurance 20 thousand. Farewell.

Since everyone is whining about rents in Bangalore, let me say that Delhi is an affordable city.
NCR is cheaper.
You can get 3 bedrooms at 15 thousand.

People in Delhi say that the rent there is much cheaper than in Bangalore. But have you ever thought that no one wants to live in Delhi ????????
